The meeting was called to order at 7:01. A quorum of the Finance Committee was present at the start of the meeting.
Al reported the snow removal budget had a deficit. State law allows deficit spending in the snow budget. A motion by Paul 2nd by Rick to deficit spend in the snow removal budget was voted unanimously.
Doug Nelson answered questions about the Information Technology Budget.
Lori Rose answered questions about the Accounting Budget.
Kathy Peterson answered questions about the Town Clerk Budget.
Al Berg recused himself from the meeting at 7:20.
Jean Berg answered questions about the Treasurer Budget.
Al returned to the meeting at 7:38.
Jean answered questions about the Insurance, Retirement and Debt Budgets.
The Committee reviewed the Reserve Fund Budget.
New Town Manager Nancy Galkowski reviewed changes in the Town Manager Budget and answered questions.
The Committee reviewed the Assessors Budget.
The Committee reviewed the Legal Budget.
Nancy will send the Committee answers to the questions asked at the meeting.
A motion by Rick 2nd by Jim to accept the minutes of January 20, 2010 was voted unanimously (abstained Don).
A motion by Peter 2nd by Glenn to accept the minutes of February 22, 2010 was voted unanimously (abstained Rick, Don).
The meeting adjourned at 9:35.
